Purple tourmaline, also known as rubellite, is a rare and highly prized gemstone, primarily sourced from Brazil. It forms through specific geological processes and ranges in color from lavender to deep magenta. The gemstone is unique for its pleochroism, displaying different colors when viewed from various angles. While tourmaline in general is relatively abundant, high-quality purple tourmaline are much less common. Tourmaline is the birthstone for October.

Use a soft cloth to gently wipe clean the item you wish to clean. Remove any remaining impurities with mild diluted soap. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly before storing away.
