Australian Teal Green Sapphires, discovered in the late 19th century, are primarily found in Australia, with occurrences in regions recognized as basalt-related sources. They exhibit a gradient of shades, with the most valuable having an equal composition of blue and green primary colors. The unique blend of deep blue and green comes from the presence of both Iron & Titanium. Unlike bi-colored sapphires, teal sapphire hues are blended, not distinctly zoned.
